Mrs. Fred Elet Succumbs to Heart Attack

The sudden death of Mrs. Fred Elet at Watson Wednesday fore noon was a shock to the community, for it was so unexpected. She was found dead in her chair where she was sitting peeling potatoes for dinner. Her death was caused by heart failure.

Mrs. Elet, whose maiden name was Caroline Meier, was 70 years old. She was a hard working woman, who devoted her time to her family and her church.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Otto Mielke and Mrs. George Franck, her aged mother, Mrs. Meier, who is 93 years old, one brother, J.D. Meier and one sister, Mrs. Mary Marfilius.

The funeral service will be held Friday afternoon in the Methodist church, Monona, with interment in the Council Hill cemetery.
