The first three years of their married lives they lived on a farm near Farmersburg and then moved to a farm in Grand Meadow township where they resided almost 23 years. At his request there will be no services.
In 1909 they retired from active farming and moved to Postville, where they made their home for the rest of their days. The wife preceded him in death on September 5, 1931.
