Millville, Ia. -- Special: Funeral services for George Becker, 62, life-long resident of this community, were conducted at the home here Friday afternoon by the Rev. C. Knight with burial in the Bethel cemetery.

Mr. Becker died at his home Wednesday evening following a lingering illness.

He was born on a farm in Millville township of Clayton county on July 29, 1874. He was engaged in business here for many years. His wife died many years ago.

He is survived by one daughter, two brothers, John H. and Arch Becker, both of Millville township; two sisters, Mrs. A. W. Latta, of Turkey River, and Mrs. George Hyde of Elgin.
