SERVICES HELD FOR HERBERT F. CLEFISH

Herbert Clefish, who passed away at the home of his parents, near Garber, Friday, January 1, 1929, was buried Monday afternoon in the cemetery at Ceres, with Rev. Dahm, of Elkport, officiating.
Herbert Frederich Clefish, was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Clefish and was born at Garnavillo, March 16, 1906, thus reaching, at the time of his death, the age of twenty-two years, nine months and eighteen days.

Herbert was an industrious young man. He stayed in the farm near Garber worked at the garage and last year erected a garage, where he labored untiringly. Here he worked too long even after he was sick, to help neighbors and friends. He was a man of good character, ever ready to help any person in need of help.

He is survived by his parents, two brothers, Earl and Laverne and one sister, Ruth, besides many other relatives and a large circle of friends.
