MRS. ROY (Rosa Magdaline Voss) LOTZA ULISH

Funeral services were held Thursday, August 27 at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Monona for Rosa Magdaline Ulish. Father Richard Bohr officiated, with burial in St. Patrick's cemetery. Schultz's funeral home was in charge of services.

Rosa Magdaline Ulish, daughter of Bernard and Sophia Satran Voss, was born July 15, 1904 at her parents home, rural Monona. She received her education in the area school and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and an active member of the Rosary Society. She was united in marriage to Joe Lotza, Jr., who died in May of 1938. On November 30, 1939 she was married to Roy Ulish.

Rosa died Sunday, August 23, 1981 at the Methodist Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota, having reached the age of 77 years, 1 month and 8 days. Preceeding her in death were her parents, her first husband, Joe and a sister Clara Sudol. Surviving her is her husband, Roy, three brothers, Joe Voss, Ben Voss, and Art Voss all of Monona, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many friends.
