Maude Isabelle Ferguson, 91, of McGregor, IA died Tuesday, November 24, 1992 at the Prairie Health Care Center.

Maude was born April 12, 1901 in Hardy, Iowa to parents Adelbert N. and Mary Watkinson Carr. She married Clarence Ferguson on March 3, 1920. They farmed west of Marquette for three years. They moved to McGregor in 1933 and ran the Shell Station for 20 years.

Maude is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Clifford (Faye) Lenth, Elkader; daughter-in-law Mrs. Dell (Mary Jane) Ferguson, McGregor; 6 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great¬grandchildren.

Preceeding her in death were her husband Clarence, her parents, one son, five brothers, one sister, three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, November 27 at Lake Thornburg Funeral Home, Prairie du Chien, WI with Rev. Karl Goodfellow officiating. Burial in the Monona City Cemetery.

Casketbearers were Joe Ferguson, Jim Ferguson, John Ferguson, Harry Dehl, Jacob Dehl, Burton Walters II.

Lake Thornburg Funeral Home, Prairie du Chien, WI, was in charge of the arrangements.
