Mrs. Carolyn Miller, 87, a lifelong resident of the McGregor area, died Saturday, Aug. 23, at the Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital.

She was born Dec. 26, 1898, to Peter and Mary Walter Zahn at McGregor. She married Harry Miller. They farmed in the McGregor area all of their lives. He passed away Dec. 21, 1960.

Surviving are five daughters, Katherine Breckler, Helen Hendrickson, Doris Bogue and Carol Linder, all of McGregor, Iowa; and Margaret Borowiak of East Lansing, Mich.; two sons, Clair of rural McGregor and Donald Miller, Shawano, Wis.; 22 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services were set for Tuesday at 10:30 at the Thornburg Funeral Home, McGregor, with Father Donald Hutchinson officiating, and burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 until 9 at the Thornburg Funeral Home.
