A McGregor man, Timothy Blackdeer, 20, died Friday, Aug. 28 at Lutheran Hospal in LaCrosse, Wis., following injuries received in a traffic accident Aug. 26 near Marquette.

Blackdeer was a passenger on a motorcycle that collided with an auto on Iowa 76 north of Marquette.

He is survived by his parents, Clifford Blackdeer of Nillsville, Wis., and Mary Lou Blackdeer of McGregor; three brothers, Armand Blackdeer, Clyde Blackdeer and Stuart Blackdeer, all of McGregor; two sisters, Carol of Minnesota Lake, Minn., and Lisa of McGregor; a half brother, Randy Blackdeer who is in the U.S. Army and stationed in Germany; and three half sisters.

Burial was Aug. 31 in Black River Falls at the Blackdeer homestead, with Wilbur Blackdeer officiating.

Buswell Funeral Home of Black River Falls was in charge of arrangements.
