Services for Seth Donlon were held Monday, September 6, 1982 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Monona, with Father Hubert Boschert officiating. Burial was in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dan Donlon, Tim Donlon, Eugene Shedivy, and Carl Shedivy. Schultz's Funeral Home, Monona, was in charge of services.

Seth John Donlon, the son of James and Greta (Shedivy) Donlon, was born January 9, 1981 at LaCrosse Lutheran Hospital, LaCrosse, Wisconsin. He was baptized February 14, 1981 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Monona.

He died Friday, September 3, 1982, the result of accidental drowning at his home. He reached the age of one year, seven months, and 24 days. Preceeding him in death was his paternal great grandfather Henry Coobs, and maternal great grand-parents Mr. & Mrs. Frank Shedivy.

Surviving are his parents James and Greta Donlon of rural McGregor; a sister Bridget; his paternal grand-parents Joe and Nancy Donlon of Luana; maternal grandparents Lawrence and Mary Shedivy of Prairie du Chien, Wisc.; paternal great grandparents Mr.& Mrs L.L. Donlon of Elkader an Lucinda Coobs of McGregor and maternal great grand parents Mr. & Mrs. Clair Craig of Prairie du Chien, many uncles, aunts and othe relatives.
