Services for Mrs. Robert Ferguson, 69, who passed away last Wednesday at a Prairie du Chien hospital, were held Saturday afternoon, October 15, at the Schultz Funeral Home in Monona. Burial was in the City cemetery.
Mrs. Ferguson was born December 18, 1885 in Farmersburg township, a daughter of Abe and Maggie Demo. She came to Marquette 10 years ago from a farm on Pleasant Ridge. In 1920 she married Robert Ferguson at Dubuque, Iowa. She was a member of the Gospel Light Church.
Survivors are her husband; three children, Mrs. Ruth Moreland of Marquette, Mrs. William Moses Jr. of Monona, and Mrs. Edity Miller of Guttenberg; three sisters, Mrs. Richard Hagensick of Monona, Mrs. Fred Schindhem of McGregor, and Mrs. Ed Schmelzer of Gernavillo, and two brothers, John Demo of Cedar Falls and Robert Demo of McGregor. Her parents, one son Harley, and one brother, William Demo, preceded her in death.
