Mrs. Anna Ricklef, aged 69, died Thursday after an illness of about three months. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the home at 1:45 and at St. Paul's Lutheran church at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. H.F. Glack officiating. Burial was in Council Hill Cemetery on Pleasant Ridge.
She was born Anna Gietz at Bridgeport, Wis., July 2, 1867. Following her marriage to Rudolph Ricklef on Feb. 25, 1892, at Bridgeport, they moved to a farm on Pleasant Ridge northwest of McGregor. Fifteen years ago they retired from farming and came to McGregor to live. Mr. Ricklef died here seven years ago.
Mrs. Ricklef is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Annon Balzel of Marquette; Mrs. Lawrence Schultz of McGregor; and Mrs. Fred Schultz of Farmersburg; seven grandchildren; one [clipping cut off]

MCGREGOR: The funeral of Mrs. Anna Ricklef, 69, of McGregor, was held Sunday afternoon from St. Paul's Lutheran church, Rev. H. F. Glock officiating. Mrs. Ricklef died at her home Thursday night after an illness of about three months. She was born Anna Gietz, at Bridgeport, Wis., July 02, 1867. She was married to Rudolph Ricklef in 1892 at Bridgeport and then moved to a farm on Pleasant Ridge, near McGregor. About 15 years ago they retired from the farm and moved to McGregor. Her husband died seven years ago. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ammon Balzell of Marquette, Mrs. Fred Schultz of Farmersburg, and Mrs. Lawrence Schultz of McGregor. Burial was made in the Pleasant Ridge cemetery.
