RUEGG, BENSON, BAUDER, LEHMAN, BRACKER

Jacob Ruegg, one of the oldest settlers of this county, died at his home two miles southeast of this city Tuesday night. He was about eighty-six years old and had been ailing for some time. For many years he was engaged in ministerial labor and farming, and through constant labor and economy has accumulated considerable wealth. He is survived by a wife and two daughters, Mesdames John Benson and Caroline Bauder, of our city.

Last Tuesday evening April 19th, occurred the death of Mr. Jacob Ruegg, after a few years illness. He was a father of two daughters, Mesdames John Benson and Mrs. Sam Bauder, their mother has departed life many years ago. After her death Mr. Ruegg united in marriage to Mrs. J. Lehman (maiden name Katie Bracker), and were pilgrims together a good many years, till the time came for the departure of their affectionate father. Funeral services were held last Thursday at the Apostolic church. Rev. F. Schupbach officiating.
