Funeral services for Ronilla Connor were held Monday, February 10, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Monona, Iowa. Father John Moran officiated. Pallbearers were her grandsons. Burial was in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Elkader, Iowa. Schultz Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Ronilla Catherine, daughter of Henry and Hattie (Berns) Schoulte, was born September 8, 1903 in National, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith. She received her education in Pioneer Country School and Immaculate Conception Boarding School in Dubuque, Iowa. On May 26, 1925, Ronilla was united in marriage to Lester Joseph Connor at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Garnavillo, Iowa. To this union six children were born. The couple farmed in Clayton County and after retiring, they moved to Monona, Iowa.

Ronilla Connor died Friday, February 7, 1992 at Central Community Hospital in Elkader, Iowa. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Monona, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lester who died September 29, 1959; 1 daughter, one sister, one grandchild and one son-in-law.

She is survived by 4 daughters, Rachel Engelhardt of Elkader, Iowa, Eileen (Ervin) Ruff of McGregor, Iowa, Ronilla (Keith) Reisen of Dubuque, Iowa, and Marilyn (John) Ryan of Monona, Iowa; 1 son, Eugene Connor of Farmersburg, Iowa; 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Rita Kann of Guttenberg, Iowa, and Anna Rutledge of Genoa, Wisconsin; and one brother, Lloyd Schoulte of Garnavillo, Iowa.
