Word has been received of the death of a former McGregor resident, Willis E. Hultgren, 55. He died Jan. 18 in Port Charlotte, Fla., where he had resided 2 1/2 years after retiring from Evanston Township High School, Evanston, Ill.

Burial was in Punto Gorda, Fla., with a Lutheran service and military graveside services by the Veterans of Foreighn Wars, of which he had been an active member.

Surviving are his wife, Bernice; one son, Edwin of Salsbury, Md.; one sister, Mrs. Ralph (Darlene Hultgren) Ahrendt of Evanston; and a granddaughter.
