Funeral services for Marjorie Bollman were held Tuesday June 3, 1997 at Forest Mills Methodist Church, rural Postville, Iowa. Rev. Steven Campbell officiated. Schultz's Funeral Home of Monona, Iowa was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Smithfield Cemetery, rural Monona, Iowa. Pallbearers were Jerry Bollman, Clark Bollman, Larry Bollman, Jeff Lange, Jim Bollman, Scott Bollman, Dennis Bollman and Steve Lange.

Marjorie Anne, daughter of Kenneth V. and Marion (Owen) Lange, was born February 8, 1926 at Monona, Iowa. She graduated from Luana High School in 1943. She was united in marriage to Leo E. Bollman on September 4, 1947 at her parent's farm. Marjorie was a member of the Monona Library Board, worked with the MFL lunch program and taught Sunday School for 14 years. Her hobbies included reading and sewing.

Marjorie died Saturday, May 31, 1997 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Leo, 2 sons, Daniel (Carolyn) Bollman of North Pole, Alaska, and Roger (Dorene) Bollman of LeClaire, Iowa, 1 daughter, Brenda Bostrom of Rochester, Minnesota; 2 grandchildren, Erin Bollman and Alexander Bostrom; 2 brothers, Bennett Lange of Postville, Iowa and LeAllen Lange of Luana, Iowa; 2 sisters, Peggy (John) Rothmeyer and Diane (Gary) Ellis, both of Postville, Iowa.
