Funeral services for Patricia Ann Hallberg were held Monday, November 27, 1995 at 11:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church, McGregor, Iowa. Rev. Ruth Ann Schriver officiated. Honorary casketbearers were Ivy Sauer, Jane Deets, Corky Peterson, Jane Reardon, Dorothy Chvatal, Margie Rice, Mary Diehl, and Kim Carlson. Burial was in the Pleasant View Cemetery, McGregor, Iowa. Thornburg-Hanson Funeral home of McGregor, Iowa was in charge of arrangements.

Patricia Ann was born April 21, 1937 at Iowa City, Iowa to Theodore and Anna (Albright) Wagner. They lived in the Waterville, Iowa area for a time. They later moved to McGregor, Iowa where Pat graduated from Mar-Mac High School in 1954. She married Darwin Hallberg on May 2, 1959 in McGregor, Iowa. They became the parents of 2 children. Pat was an active member of all clubs in the Mar-Mac area, working as a volunteer for many organizations. She was well-known for having an open house to those who did not have one. Pat was a very caring and loving mother and friend to all who knew her. Her greatest pleasure came from being with her grandchildren who will miss her deeply.

She was preceded in death by her father. Pat died at the age of 58 years at her home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Patricia is survived by a son Gregg (Michelle) Hallberg, a daughter Darci Jones, her mother Anna Wagner, all of McGregor, Iowa; 7 grandchildren; 1 brother Lyle (Helen) Wagner of St. Olaf, Iowa; 1 nephew Steve (Brenda) Wagner and family; 1 niece Sherry (Ron) Trudo and family; and an aunt Edna Balceer.
