Funeral services for Lula Bundrick were held Monday, November 17, 1995, 3:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Luana, Iowa. Rev. Jeff Ruetten officiated. Pallbearers were Bill Traetow, Norbert Dettman, Robert Schultz, Larry Riveland, Ronald Hofer, and Dwain Wolter. Burial was in the St. John's Cemetery. Schultz Funeral Home of Monona was in charge of services.

Lula Ella was the daughter of John Henry and Adda (Smith) McShane. She was born February 8, 1910 at their home on Hickory Creek, rural Luana, Iowa. She attended school at rural Hickory Creek and graduated from Luana High School in 1928. Lula married Lloyd Bugenhagen in 1929. She was united in marriage to Carl Bundrick in November of 1947. They lived in the town of Luana until she entered Thornton Manor in Lansing, Iowa in June of 1992. She clerked in the local grocery store owned by Merle and Leona Baade. She enjoyed horses.

Lula died Thursday, November 23, 1995 at Thornton Manor in Lansing, Iowa. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Carl Bundrick; 3 sisters, Lois Marguerite McShane at the age of 3, Nesia McShane at the age of 5, and Grace Barr; and 1 brother, Donald McShane.

Surviving is one sister, Helen Lamborn of Postville, Iowa; nieces and nephews, Lisa Brainard of Decorah, Iowa, David Lamborn of Anchorage, Alaska, Conrad Barr of Waukon, Iowa, Judy Landt of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Tonya Hardy of Malibu, California, and Kevin McShane of Mobile, Alabama.
