Mrs. Elizabeth Hunter

Funeral services were held at the Luana Methodist Church on December 10 for Mrs. Elizabeth Hunter, who passed away December 6. Interment was in Luana cemetery.

Elizabeth Hunter, daughter of William and Mary Ann Hollbrook, was born near Richland Center, Wisconsin, September 11, 1877, and died near Postville on December 6, 1952 at the age of 75 years, two months and 25 days.

At the age of 15 she joined the Baptist Church at Adrian, Minnesota. On November 9, 1896 she was married to Leonard Hunter. To them were born one daughter, Carrie, who preceded her in death; and two sons, Loren D. of Buffalo, New York and Charles of California, both of whom survive.

On October 29, 1906 she was married to Phillip Frye, who also preceded her in death. She is survived by two brothers, George of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Harlow of Garden City, Minnesota; by two sisters, Mrs. John Isley of Alberta, Canada and Mrs. Ezra Foster of Holland, Minnesota.
