Mrs. Elizabeth Warthman was called to Guttenberg Saturday by the serious illness of her mother, Mrs. Anderegg. Mrs. Warthman's brother Ed Frese of Iowa township was called Monday by a message stating that his mother was not expected to live. At noon Monday Mrs. Virgil Harker received word of the death of Mrs. Anderegg. Mrs. Harker is a granddaughter of the deceased woman.

Mrs. Louise Anderegg was born in Ohio, but came to Guttenberg early in life. She was quite well known in this community, having spent several weeks here at different times at the homes of her daughter Mrs. Warthman and her son Ed Frese. Her last visit here was three years ago. Since that time she has been in ill health, suffering from asthma and heart trouble. Pneumonia was the direct cause of death. She was in her seventy-eighth year.

Surviving are seven children and several grandchildren among whom are Mrs. Elizabeth Warthman and Mrs. Virgil Harker of Oxford and Ed. Frese of Iowa township.
