DELOS BURGETT, 85, SERVICES MONDAY

Services were held at 1:30 Monday at the Methodist church for Delos Burgett, 85, who died Friday evening at Memorial hospital in Manchester, following a long illness. The Rev Robert Smith officiated at the services and burial was in County Corners cemetery.

Delos Burgett was born December 8, 1876, near Arlington the son of George and Cordelia Builis Burget.

A retired farmer, he was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Grace, whom he married on Sept 20, 1952 at Beloit, Kan., two sons, Robert of Strawberry Point, and Fay of Edgewood, and two daughters, Evelyn (Mrs. Howard Colton) and Bernadine (Mrs. Don Colton) of Waterloo.

Preceding him in death were his first wife, Genie Benson, Burgett whom he married at West Union on Feb 27, 1907 and second wife, Jennie Susie Burgett whom he married on November 11, 1943 at Volga; his parents, one sister and one brother.
