OBITUARYMrs. Maggie Sargent whose death we announced last week was born in Virginia. In 1854 her father (Mr. Nace) and family removed to Iowa and settled near Strawberry Point, since that time Mrs. Sargent has been a resident of Cass Township. About sixteen years ago she united with the Methodist church of this place and up to her death was an esteemed member of that denomination. About six years ago she was married to Allen Sargent. Having resided here the greater part of her life her acquaintances and friends were numerous. Wherever known she was highly esteemed. She was 35 years of age at the time of her death. The breaking of the brittle thread of life brings mourning to a large circle of relatives and friends. Especially is this the case of a bereaved husband mother, sisters and brothers.
