Clifford Hinman Drowns In Texas
Clifford Hinman, son of Spec. 5 & Mrs. James C. Hinman of Nolanville, Texas, accidentally drowned Thursday afternoon, June 7.
Funeral services were held Mon., June 11 at 3:30 p.m. in Schultz's Funeral Home in Monona. Rev. Dick F. Harberts, pastor of Postville Presbyterian Church, officiated.
Pallbearers were Clark Hinman, Steve Montour, Bill Christofferson, Greg Montour, Tom Rocksvold, & Lynn Starkey. Burial was in Monona New East Side Cemetery.
Clifford Eugene Hinman was born Feb. 24, 1956 in Buffalo, Minn. He was baptized at New Brighton, Minn. in the Methodist Church. He was a junior at Killeen High School in Killeen, Texas. Clifford died June 7, 1973 at the age of 17 years, 3 months, and 14 days.
Preceding him in death was one brother, Dennis James, who died in infancy.
Surviving him are his parents, three sisters, Mrs. Rick (Kathleen) Starkey of Castalia, Miss Crystal Hinman & Miss Kimberly Hinman, both of Nolanville, Texas, his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Ruth Hinman of Monona, and several aunts & uncles.
