William A. Henry
William A. Henry, son of William Henry, Sr. and Amanda Steemann, was born in Garnavillo Township on June 1, 1931. He was the victim of an apparent murder-suicide on Aug. 31, 1971, at the age of 40 years.
He is survived by his mother, Amanda Henry, of Denver, Colo., one brother, Elmer of Elkader, and one sister, Mrs. Louis (Arlene) Bauer of Garnavillo.
Mr. Henry was buried Thurs., Sept. 2 in the Garnavillo City Cemetery. Services were held from the Tuecke Funeral Chapel with Rev. L. C. Urlaub officiating.
Pallbearers were Jim Downey, Ronald Bauer, Charles Downey, Walter Sauer, Verdus Reimer, and Haldon Reimer.
