Harley C. Jones, age 63, of Harpers Ferry, Iowa died Wednesday, January 13, 1988 at Memorial Hospital in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. He was a retired Milwaukee Railroad Employee and former McGregor,Iowa resident. Funeral services were held Friday, January 15, at 1:30 p.m. at United Methodist Church in McGregor, Iowa with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery McGregor, Iowa. Military honors were provided by Harpers Ferry American Legion.

Surviving are his wife Bertha; 2 sons, Ronald Jones of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin and Ervin Jones of McGregor, Iowa; 2 daughters Sylvia Hollenberger of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, and Sheila McHone of Giard, Iowa; 8 grandchildren; 2 brothers, John Jones of Minnesota and James Jones of Kansas City, Missouri, and 3 sisters, Beatrice Kramer of Independence, Iowa, Mildred McGill of Nebraska, and Genevieve Collier of Kansas City.
