Helen Marie Bollman, died September 18, 1989 at Lutheran Hospital, LaCrosse, WI. She was born January 30, 1909 near Monona, Iowa to Louis and Cora (Walter) Krambeer. She received her education in Grand Meadow Township country school.

On September 2, 1930 she married Lawrence Moody Bollman at the Little Brown Church near Nashua, Iowa. They had 10 children. The couple farmed in Linton Twp. in Allamakee County, Iowa until 1954, when they moved to Monona, Iowa. She was a member of the Garden City United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents,her twin sister, Ellen Koopman and brother, Arno Krambeer. Surviving is her husband, Lawrence; 4 sons, Raymond of Swisher, IA, LeRoy of Waukon, IA, Robert of Osage, IA, and Frederick of Harpers Ferry, IA; 6 daughters, Marie Farmer of Postville, IA, Jane Kregel of Monona, IA, Loretta Bollman of Robbinsdale, MN, Lillian Kidman of Jackson, MI, Karen Holvenstot of New Hope, MN and JoAnn Bollman of Arlington, TX; 27 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Lawrence Krambeer of Decorah, IA and Elmer Krambeer of Postville, IA, and one sister, Evelyn Meyer of Postville, IA.

Funeral services were Friday, at Garden City United Methodist Church,in Monona, with Rev. Gary Dobbins officiating. Organist was Ric Benzing and Carol Gerdes, soloist. Burial was in the Monona City Cemetery. Pallbearers were the grandsons of Helen Bollman. Schultz's Funeral Home in Monona was in charge of the services
