Edward R. Davis Funeral Services

Funeral services for Edward Ross Davis, 81, were held Wednesday, June 9, at 2 p.m. at the United Congregational church in Ogema, Minn., with Reverend Carl E. Clausen officiating.

Burial was in the Ogema Cemetery, Ogema, Minn.

Mr. Davis died at St. Mary's hospital at Detroit Lakes, Minn., June 7, 1971.

He was born in Monona, July 31, 1889, and went to Ogema, Minn., with his parents in 1910. He farmed in the Ogema area since. He was married to Hilda Collignon of Spring Valley, Minn.

Preceding him in death were two sisters.

Surviving are his wife, Hilda; two brothers, Will Davis of Portland, Ore., and Melvin Davis of Ashland, Ohio.

Pallbearers were Ambrose Larson, Hilmer Peterson, Robert Tilton, Dale Tilton, Ed Metelak and James Hoben.
