Funeral services for Daniel Martindale, 6, Monona, were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 16 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville. The Rev. David Palm officiated. Schultz's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Daniel Allen Martindale, the son of Don and Karen (Hoth) Martindale was born April 13, 1978 at Prairie du Chien, WI. He died Saturday, May 12, 1984 at his home following a brief illness.

He attended the Preschool Handicapped in Garnavillo prior to his death.

Surviving are his parents, Don and Karen Martindale, Monona; his grandparents, Don and Iva Martindale of Oelwein, and Vernon and Geneva Hoth, Farmersburg; his great grandparents, Mrs. Esther Hoth, Elkader, and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mermann, Sr., Elkader; four uncles and two aunts, Peter Martindale, Jim Hoth, Brad and Brenda Hoth and Jerry and Deb Neuhaus; and three cousins, Brett Hoth and Justin and Joshua Neuhaus.
