Farmersburg---Lona M. Vullgraf, 96, died Tuesday evening at Community Memorial Hospital.

Surviving are a nephew and niece.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday (January 2, 1988) at Schutte's in Postville. Burial: Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral services for Lona Vullgraf were held Saturday, January 2 at 11 a.m. in the Schutte Funeral Home, Postville, Iowa. Rev. Ted Ager officiated. Interment was in the Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery.

Lona Marie Vullgraf, daughter of Henry and Ida (Buck) Vullgraf, was born January 26, 1891 in Wagner Township, Clayton County. She died December 29, 1987 in the Good Samaritan Center Postville, Iowa. She graduated from the Farmersburg High School, Farmersburg, Iowa and Wartburg College, Waverly, Iowa. Lona was employed as a secretary to the President of Wartburg College all her life. She retired in 1951 and moved to Farmersburg. On March 3, 1980 she became a resident of the Good Samaritan Center in Postville, Iowa. She was a member of St. John

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters in infancy and a sister, Senta (Mrs. Henry Huebner).

Surviving are a niece Elaine and her husband, Lorenz "Larry" Heying, Dubuque, Iowa and a nephew, Eugene Huebner and his wife, Eileen of Postville, Iowa.
