Services for Veronica Landt were held Thursday, Dec. 2 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Postville. The Rev. A. A. McAvoy officiated. Schutte Funeral Service, Postville, was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Postville Cemetery.

Veronica Marie Landt, daughter of Edward and Anna (Shockenberger) Kohler, was born October 6, 1907 near Monona. She died November 30, 1982 at Community Memorial Hospital in Postville.

She received her education at St. Patrick's School in Monona. On June 6, 1932 she was married to Harry Landt. To this union a son was born. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in June of 1982.

They farmed in Grand Meadow Township for fifteen years. In 1952 they moved to Postville where they have lived for 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.

Surviving besides her husband, Harry, is a son, Robert of Cedar Rapids, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
