Funeral services for Anne Grady Foss, 86, of Helena, Mont., were held Saturday morning, Nov. 2, at 10 o'clock at St. Patrick's church with Msgr Vernon J. Peters of Ossian and Father Donald Heineman officiating at the funeral mass.
Burial was in St. Patrick's cemetery at Monona.
Mrs. Foss died Monday night, Oct. 28, at 8:30 o'clock at St. John's hospital in Helena of pneumonia, where she had been a patient for about a month.
She was born Jan. 21, 1882, a daughter of John and Mary, nee English, Grady, on a farm near Monona.
She was married to John T. Foss, July 1907, at St. Patrick's church in Monona.
She was educated in Monona and taught school near Elkader and Monona. She left Monona to keep house for her cousin, Msgr. F. T. English in 1934 at Wykoff and Janesville, Minn. After his death in 1960, she went to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Sedgwick at 931 Cannon street, Helena, Mont.
Preceding her in death were her parents, a son, Leo J., who died Feb. 14, 1934; four sisters, Nell, Kate, Agnes and Rose; four brothers, Joe, Tom, Mike and Edward Grady.
In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Stanley (L. Marie) Sedgwick, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. George Phillippe of Harlowton, Mont.; and a brother, Pat Grady of Tomah, Wis.
Pallbearers were Everett Drahn, Edward Grady, Barney Whittle, Howard Bishop, Leo Steiert and Gilbert Fox.
