Lynn M. Noesen, age 54, died Sunday, July 13, 2008, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinic after a short illness.

Services will be Friday at the Church of the Resurrection, Dubuque, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery and visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Church. The Behr Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The Parish Wake Service will be said at the Church on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

Lynn was born July 2, 1954 in Torrington, Wyoming, daughter of Charles F. and Joanne S. (Loetz) Brooks.

Lynn was a graduate of Mar-Mac High School in McGregor, Iowa and then attended the University of Northern Iowa and Clarke College.

She married David P. Noesen on January 17, 1976, at St. Mary's Church in McGregor. Lynn has been employed by Dubuque Community Schools for 31 years and was currently working in Learning Resource Center at Eisenhower School. She was a member of Resurrection Parish. In her spare time, Lynn enjoyed reading and making crafts. She was especially devoted to her pets. Lynn will be sadly missed by her family and her school"family".

Survivors her husband, David P. Noesen; her parents, Charles and Joanne Brooks, McGregor; two brothers, Joseph C. (Sharon) Brooks, Gainesville, Florida and Robert R. (Amber) Brooks, Altamonte Springs, Florida; nieces and nephews; aunt & uncle, Charlotte (Lane) O'Rourke, Dubuque, Iowa; Special Friend, Sandra Schiltz, Dubuque, Iowa.

Memorials may be given to the Dubuque Humane Society, 175 Crescent Ridge, Dubuque, Iowa 52002.
The family would like to thank the members of the Mar-Mac Rescue Squad for their help and concern.
