Services for Mrs. Hyde at Bethel Church. Long Illness Fatal to Colesburg Woman.
Mrs. Audrey Peal Hyde, well known resident of the Colesburg rural route, died Sunday afternoon (March 11, 1945) at the home of her son, Raymond, in Guttenberg. Mrs. Hyde had been ill for many months and some time ago underwent an operation from which she never recovered.Burial at Bethel ...The funeral services were held at the Beerman funeral parlors at 1:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon and from there to the Bethel Church where Rev. Max Hartsough, pastor of the Bethel Church spoke.
Burial was in the Bethel Cemetery with the following as pallbearers; Ben Kulper, Russell Barnhart, Lester Kottke, Henry Finnegan, John Moser and Roy Tomkins.Born in Nebraska ...Mrs. Hyde was born June 18, 1889, at Norfolk, Nebraska, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Schrunk. She was married to John Hyde on May 30, 1905.
Mrs. Hyde is survived by Mr. Hyde and seven children, Mrs. Virnie Tomkins of Colesburg, Floyd of Seaton, Illinois, Raymond of Guttenberg, Donald, who is overseas with the armed forces, and Frank, Veryle and Virgil of the home.
