Richard L. "Dick" Keenan, 40, of McGregor, died Wed., Jan. 24, 2001 at his home in McGregor, following a short illness.

Funeral services were held Mon., Jan. 29 at St. Mary's Church in McGregor with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Waukon.

"Dick" is survived by a special friend, Cathi Corlett of McGregor; his parents, Leo and Kathleen Keenan of McGregor; five sisters, Janelle (Dave) Pruhs and Jane (Melvin) Keenan-Turner, both of Milwaukee, WI, Linda Keenan, Barbara Keenan and Debra Keenan, all of Minneapolis, MN; two brothers, Bill (Lisa) Keenan of Monticello, MN, and Brian Keenan of Minneapolis, MN.

Dick was born Sept. 30, 1960 in Waukon, to parents Leo and Kathleen Manton Keenan. He graduated from Mar-Mac High School in 1979. He worked on the railroad for five years and has worked as a grain inspector for Agri Grain in McGregor for 10 years.

He was preceded in death by his twin brother Ronald, and Cathi Corlett's daughter, Erin Hallberg.

Thornburg-Hanson Funeral Home in McGregor assisted the family.
