Harold Dennis Rites at Strawberry Point

Strawberry Point, Ia. - Funeral services for a former Strawberry Point resident, Harold Clayton Dennis, 51, Iowa City, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Emanuel Lutheran church here, the Rev. S.J. Meyer officiating. Burial will be in the Strawberry Point cemetery.

Mr. Dennis, who died unexpectedly Monday at Mercy hospital in Iowa City, operated a tap and grill here for ten years, before leaving for Iowa City four months ago. He operated an auto court in Iowa City.

Surviving are his wife and a son, Charles, a senior in the Strawberry Point high school, and a daughter, Sharon, Iowa City. Also his father, Charles, North English, and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Graccy, Hiawatha. Gill funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
