Funeral services were held at the Schultz Funeral Home in Monona, Tuesday, December 21, at 2:00 o'clock for Emil Koss, who passed away Sunday, December 19. Rev. L. W. Reuther, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, Luana, officiated. Burial was made in the Luana cemetery.

The family, for a number of years, owned a farm south of Luana, now known as the Hubert Doerring farm.

He was a carpenter by trade and traveled considerably. After his health failed, he came back to Clayton county, where he remained until his death.
