Funeral service for Lee LaVonne Allert King were held Thursday, March 7, at 2 p.m. at Schultz's Funeral Home, Monona. Rev. Gary Dobbins officiated. Soloist was Merrill Womach. Burial was in the Monona City Cemetery. Schultz's Funeral Home, Monona, was in charge of services.

Lee LaVonne Allert King, daughter of Earl and Clara Hefner Allert, was born August 27, 1937 near Monona in Franklin Township. She was baptized at home and confirmed at the Monona Methodist Church. She graduated from MFL in 1953. She was a housewife and a school bus driver.

She died on Thursday, February 28, 1991 at Thunderbird Hospital, Phoenix, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and an uncle, Orville Allert.

Surviving are her husband, Bill; two daughters, Cassie Kong, Sunny Dale, CA and Robyn King, Oldenburg, Tempe, AZ; 2 grandchildren; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Allert; 2 brothers, Bobby Dean Allert of Monona and Russell Allert of Des Moines; a niece and nephew and a host of other relatives and friends.
