DAVENPORT - Muree E. Radloff, 94, of Davenport, died Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at the Good Samaritan Home in Davenport. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 17, 2009, at 9 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Davenport. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at The Runge Mortuary, with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the church or the Scott County Humane Society.

Muree was born October 30, 1914, in McGregor, Iowa, the daughter of John and Verne (Behning) LoRang. She was united in marriage to R.H. “Hap” Radloff on January 15, 1939, in McGregor. He died November 8, 1985.

She worked in the Planning and Traffic Office at Alcoa for 19 years. She enjoyed gardening and playing 500, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Those left to honor her memory include her son, John J. “ Jack” (Judy) Radloff, Davenport; grandchildren, Angie (Ken) Gaul, Aurora, III., and Jenny (Jim) Mcintosh, Davenport; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Alexis, and Ryan Gaul and Jared, Jordan, Justin, Jeremy and Jake Mcintosh; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents, sisters, Lillian Schneider, Peggy Wilson, Jacqueline Felder, and Louise Hawley, and a brother, John “Bud" LoRang, preceded her in death.
