Katherine Kreisler

Mrs. Katherine Kreisler, a pioneer resident of Guttenberg, died Tuesday morning, January 7, 1913, of old age at her home at the residence of Joseph Nigg. Deceased was born in Lichtenstein, Germany, March 23, 1823. Her husband died several years ago. She leaves a son, John Kreisler of Guttenberg, and many relatives and friends to mourn her departure. The funeral will be held Saturday morning at nine o’clock, with services at St. Mary’s church, conducted by Rev. J.H. Brinkman. Interment will be in the Catholic cemetery.

Submitter’s note: Johann Aberham Kraussle was Katherine’s husband who died October 15, 1901.
