Find Body of Elkader Man Gone Since Apr. 4
Elkader (Special) - The body of George Nugent, 75, was found last night in the Turkey river about six miles south of Elkader, by Walter Asmuth, who was fishing. Cause of death has been listed as suicide. There were no marks of violence on the body. An intensive search has been carried on for Nugent, who was last seen Sunday, Apr. 4 at 5:30 a.m. when he left the Elkader hotel where he was a clerk.

Mr. Nugent is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Al Bergman, Maynard; tow sons, Clarence Nugent, McGregor, and Francis Nugent, Des Moines; and two brothers, Frank Nugent, Elkader and Joseph Nugent, Dubuque. The body is at the Oelke funeral home, Elkader, and funeral arrangements are incomplete.
