Mrs. Hazel Siegele

Mrs. Hazel Lucinda Siegele, McGregor, widow of Carl Siegele passed away October 14, 1964 at the McGregor Hospital. Mrs. Siegele was born September 12, 1891, to Levi and Ora Helm. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Hanson, Mason City, two daughters, Mrs. Frances Klotzbach, McGregor, and Mrs. Eleanor Klotzbach, Iowa City, and four grandchildren.

Mrs. Siegele was a resident of McGregor for forty-two years and a memeber of the Methodist Church.

Services were held October 17 at the Thornburg Funeral Home with Rev. D.E. Kehrli officiating. Mrs. Don Strutt sang "Peace in the Valley", with Mrs. Nettie Coon accompanying on the organ.

Mrs. Siegele was buried at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bill Hendrickson, Earl Davies Jr., Lowell Siegele, Gerald Siegele (Oelwein), Carroll Henkes, and Leonard Hanson (Mason City).
