Mamie Haferbecker

Services for Mrs. Mamie Haferbecker, 90, of Ennoble Manor Care Center, formerly of 160 Stoltz St., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at DeWachter-Haudenshield Funeral Home, 2170 Central Ave.

Burial will be in the Linwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Haferbecker was born Jan. 27, 1899, in McGregor, daughter of John and Mamie (Russow) Durr. She died at 5:50 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 1989 at Mercy Health Center St. Joseph's Unit.

She married Ernest Haferbecker May 19, 1917; he preceded her in death in 1957.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Mae) Nelson of Milwaukee; three sons, Clarence of Minneapolis, Earl of Bellevue and John of Dubuque; and five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
