Leonard Funeral Home, Monona, IA, was in charge of the arrangements.

Doris Ann Plozel, 58, Luana, Iowa, died on Tuesday, October 02, 2007, at her home following a brief illness. Doris was born on December 5, 1948, in Postville, Iowa, to Leonard and Agatha (Goltz) Rubendall. She attended Postville High School through the tenth grade.

Doris was united in marriage to Donald James McGuire. Three children were born to this union. Doris was united in marriage to Ronnie Plozel on August 18, 1990, at the Garden City Methodist Church, Monona.

Doris was an employee for over thirty years at Iowa Turkey Products in Postville, Iowa. She enjoyed collecting angels, reading, puzzles, playing games on the computer and gambling at the boat. Doris loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Plozel, Luana; two daughters, Kimberly Kay Duvel and special friend, Michael Hansen, Luana, Kathy Jo Plozel and fiancé, Larry Kugel Jr., Ossian; two grandchildren, Hunter James Kugel and Rylee Gene Kugel; three sisters, Linda Heins, Luana, Lois Grotegut, Postville, Sharon (Jim) Goeke, Waukon and two brothers, Lee (Susan) Rubendall, Monona and Gene Rubendall, Westgate.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Timmy Lee McGuire and Donnie James McGuire; mother-in-law, Wanda Plozel and nephew Travis Rubendall

Doris Ann Plozel, 58, of Luana died Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at her home following a brief illness. Private Family Inurnment will take place at a later date at Smithfield Cemetery, rural Monona, with Rev. Dennis Gilbert officiating.

Doris was born December 5, 1948 in Postville to Leonard and Agatha (Goltz) Rubendall. She attended Postville High School through the tenth grade.
