Services Held For Ben Krambeer At Luana Church
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at St. John's Lutheran Church in Luana for Ben H. Krambeer, 61, who passed away suddenly Saturday, March 13. Burial was in Luana cemetery.
Ben H. Krambeer, second youngest child in a family of 14 children, was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Krambeer on March 5, 1893 on a farm in Wagner township near Luana. He was a confirmed member of the Lutheran church.
From the farm home in Wagner township, he moved with his parents to a farm near Monona and later to Luana. He was united in marriage to Miss Rosena Eggert on December 9, 1915, the ceremony being performed in Postville. Three children were born to this union. After marriage he lived in and around Luana.
The deceased was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and of the Brotherhood for many years. He suffered a heart attack in 1952 and experienced further attacks in the years thereafter. He passed away suddenly last Saturday, March 13, at 1:30 p.m.
He is survived by his widow; one son, Robert of Luana; two daughters, Mrs. Lynn Hangartner of Luana and Mrs. Loren Leas of Luana; six grandchildren; two brothers and four sisters.

Ben's parents were John Krambeer, Sr., and Augusta Englehardt.
