Services for Gabriella (Ella) Sydonia Krambeer were held Tuesday, Oct. 13, 1981, at Schultz's Funeral Home, Monona, with Pastor Harold Ward officiating.

Gabriella (Ella) Sydonia Krambeer, the daughter of Wilhelm and Wihelmena Bugenhang Landt, was born July 1, 1888, Garnavillo. She was baptized September 2, 1888 at St. Paul Lutheran, Postville by Pastor E.___ockelman and confirmed March 30, 1902.

She attended Cherry Valley and Hardin Schools. She was an accomplished seamstress and a homemaker. February 18, 1919 she was united in marriage to John [Henry] Krambeer at her parents' home. To this union two sons, Harlan and James, were born. They celebrated 58 years of marriage.

She died Saturday, October 10, 1981 at the Good Samaritan Center, Postville, where she had made her home the last seven years. She reached the age of 93 years, 3 months, 9 days.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband John in 1978, her son Harlan in 1968, her brothers Carl (baby), William, Rudolph, Helmuth; sisters, Mrs. Otto (Betty) Schultz and Emma Landt.

Surviving her are her son James of Carroll, two grandsons, Lee A. of Monona and Todd of Carroll; 3 great grandson, Rayne, Jared and Wade; 2 sisters, Alma Landt, of Waukon and Mrs. Earl (Hatty) Reiners of West Union, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
