Mrs. JOHN (Ida Harnack) KRAMBEER
Funeral services for Mrs. John Krambeer, 86, of Monona, were held last Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the residence to St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran church at Monona with Rev. R. C. Schlueter officiating.
Mrs. Krambeer, who had been in failing health for the last five years, died Sunday morning, December 26.
As Ida Frederick she was born the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Harnack December 12, 1862, near Garnavillo.
She was married to Johann Krambeer, March 18, 1881, at Postville. The following year they purchased a farm near Hardin and made it their home for 35 years, until 1917, when they retired to Monona.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Charles Ulish, Mrs. Rudolph Bugenhagen, Mrs. Vern Zieman, and Miss Hilda Krambeer; one son, John, Jr.; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Schultz, Mrs. Emma Meier, and Mrs Mary Schroeder, all of Postville; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Minnie Meyer; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in February, 1939, and by one brother and one sister.
