Funeral services were held for Mrs. Martin Green on Fri., Nov. 3 at 10 a.m. at Schultz's Funeral Home in Monona. Rev. Raymond Pacholke officiated.
Burial was in the Monona City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Earl Allert, Henry Philipp, Edmund Ryan, Bill Toben, Gene Bullman, and Harvey Gruber.
Gladys A. Green, daughter of Mrs. Amelia Klausmeyer and Adolph J. Herzog, was born Sept. 28, 1912 at St. Louis, Mo. She passed away at Postville Hospital after a short illness on October 31, 1972.
She was united in marriage to Martin Green on March 3, 1931. There were two sons born to this union, Lewis E. of Elkader and Loren A. of Postville.
Mr. and Mrs. Green lived in Clayton County for approximately 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Mrs. Violet A. Cox. Her survivors include her husband, her two sons, a brother, Adolph D. Herzog of Detroit, Mich., a sister, Mrs. Camille Battise of New Orleans, twelve grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
