Hyde Services on Saturday - M. V. B. Hyde Passes at Hospital in McGregor

Funeral services were held on Saturday at the Fairview church for Martin Van Buren Hyde, who died April 6, 1950 at a McGregor hospital. The services were conducted by Louis H. Brandt and burial was in the Brown cemetery at Colesburg.
Aged 74 years, 11 months and 18 days, Mr. Hyde had been in failing health for the past several years.

Mr. Hyde was born on a farm four miles north of Colesburg. He was a carpenter by trade. He was the son of the late James Porter Hyde and Hannah Hyde.

Mr. Hyde is survived by one sister and one brother, Mrs. Alta B. Engel of Seattle, Washington, and Roy Hyde of Silver Springs, Maryland.

H was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers; Mrs. Ivy Hunt of Seattle, Washington; Mrs. Eva Walters of Edgewood; Thomas Hyde of Seattle; James Hyde of Manchester, and Victor A. Hyde of Garnavillo, Ia.
