Hilda "Babe" Myers rites on May 23, 1991
Services for Hilda "Babe" Fay Myers, 81 of Guttenberg were scheduled for Thursday, May 23, at 10:00 a.m. at the Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home in Guttenberg. Father Paul Peters will conduct the services.
She died Monday evening, May 20, 1991 at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital.
Visitation will be from 2:00-9:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Guttenberg City Cemetery.
Mrs. Myers was born near Graham on April 1, 1910, a daughter of Samuel and Sarah Ella (Schrunk) Livingston.
She was married at Davenport Sept. 14, 1938 to Samuel Edward Myers, who died Nov. 17, 1972. Mrs. Myers served as a Girl Scout leader for many years. She was an antique dealer from 1965 until her retirement in 1973.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Vernon (Margo) Heck of Guttenberg; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Ina Ross and Mrs. Rex (Hazel "Babe") Young, both of Guttenberg. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Patrick and Lorrell Livingston.
