Services held for Ernest Brase - Ernest "Ernie" W. A. Brase, 74, of Scenic Acres, St. Olaf, formerly of Osterdock, died Sunday morning, May 5, 1991 at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, at the Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg, and will be conducted by Pastor Thomas Jones of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Garnavillo. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, rural Guttenberg, with the following caskets bearers; Dennis Fredlake, Darrel Fredlake, Terry Puelz, Ronnie Moser, Kelly Borman, and Darren Bowman.

Mr. Braze was a son of William and Anna (Endriss) Brase and was born Oct. 5, 1916 in Jefferson Township, Clayton County. He worked as a hired man on various farms in the Osterdock area, and in 1974 he moved to Scenic Acres.

He is survived by ten nieces and seven nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Henry in 1962 and Paul in 1978; and four sisters, Caroline Troester in 1946, Amanda Block in 1970, Ida Wolter in 1972 and Louise Troester in 1981.
