Ida Kann services held at St. Mary - Services for Mrs. Ida Kann, 93, of Guttenberg were conducted by Father Paul Peters at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at St. Mary Catholic Church.

Mrs. Kann died Wednesday, May 1, 1991 at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. Burial was in St. Mary Cemetery with the following pallbearers; Dan Parker, Daryl Parker, Allen Nieland, Cary Todd and Bruce Kann. Visitation was at the Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home where the scripture wake service was held Friday evening.

Ida Antoninette Kann was born May 9, 1897 at Garnavillo, a daughter of George and Josephine (Muench) Heck. She was married Feb. 15, 1922 at St. Mary Catholic Church to Herbert H. Kann, who died May 20, 1985. Mrs. Kann was a housewife and homemaker and farmed with her husband before they retired.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Eldon (Mary) Parker of Guttenberg; three sons, Reynold of McGregor, Herbert F. and Verdus, both of Guttenberg; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one sister Mrs. Kathryn Fassbinder of Guttenberg.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Mrs. Norbert (Donna) Nieland in 1968; one son Loren in 1987; five brothers and three sisters.
